Lets be honest, when you come across a person who has over 800 friends on facebook do they really have 800 and such friends? I feel like for the average person they don’t actually know these people. For some, they meet you once, creepily find out your last name and add you on facebook. It is almost as if they find gratification in knowing that they have so many friends. That is the other thing that bothers me, the term “friend” on facebook. You are probably actual friends with about 10% of these people and never talk to the other 90%. And of course I realize that that’s a complete over generalization and I am sure that there are those who genuinely know most of the people on their friends list, but I’m sure that very few can claim that. The last thing is, if you are having a sad and dark moment in your life why must you use sappy quotes from songs. Just call up one of your 800 friends and talk about it over coffee.
